BELMONT Hotel Manila, in partnership with ArtisteSpace, launched its first-ever art exhibit featuring world-class artworks from five award-winning artists: Joel Ajero, Wilfredo 'Yeye' Calderon, Rene Canlas, Rolan Guina and Joie Pabilando.
Titled "Hiraya, A Visual Feast of Filipino Culture," the exhibit is a showcase of 20 watercolor paintings and 15 sculptures.
Hotel guests would get to see corners of the lobby and Café Belmont restaurant enhanced with visually enthralling art pieces that depict Filipino culture in a contemporary way.
"Hiraya not only demonstrates our cultural wealth, but also inspires pride in being Filipino. ArtisteSpace is one with Belmont Hotel Manila in highlighting the works of our Filipino artists. It gives us great pleasure to provide our talented local artists with different venues and platforms where they can showcase their magnificent artworks," ArtisteSpace Managing Director Anton Magpantay shared.
All featured watercolorists at Hiraya are part of the Kulay sa Tubig Competition Hall of Fame, a prestigious category reserved for best watercolorists who have won at least three times in the said competition.
"Hiraya: A Visual Feast of Filipino Culture" will be at Belmont Hotel Manila until September 16 and available for viewing 24 hours.
